DAY AGAINST WOMEN´S VIOLENCE

25th of November is the International Day Against Gender Violence.
With the children of 6th grade, we made a poster, using an image and the text "Que as túas mans só sirvan para crear sorrisos". WE also took some pictures of us, and we recorded a Manequin Challenge, which the journal La Voz de Galicia shared!

ART MUSEUM

This year in Art Classroom we want to create an Art Museum, using the walls of the third floor.
In this first Term, we´ve learnt about different techniques like Pointillism, Sgraffito and Collage.
We´ve searched information about Artists like Georges Seurat (the master of the Pointillism), and Paul Klee (Sgraffito).
The topic we´ve used for most of our works is The Universe, which is the Project For this School Year.

HALLOWEEN!!

On 31st of October, we celebrate Halloween. In Arts Class, we made different scary crafts. DO you like them??

WELCOME TO OUR BLOG AGAIN!!

We have been working a lot these months, and we didn´t time enough to share our work here.
So excuse us, and from now we are going to share what we did from September to December.
We hope you enjoy your visit to our blog!!

END OF THE YEAR SCHOOL PROJECT: PAINTING THE SCHOOL WALLS

Hi there!
Today we're sharing our end of the school year Art project. We painted our school walls, we made very simple decorations and sixth graders, inspired by Banksy's street art, painted a mural. There are some photos below if you'd like to see.

Great job and great memories. It was fun!

KEITH HARING SCULPTURES

Fourth graders are big fans of Keith Haring work, so, apart from their paintings they made some sculptures. Here you are some examples.

15th MAY: FAMILY DAY

Last Sunday, 15th May it was Family Day.
As every year, we made a little something for our families. We worked hard! Below are some photos if you'd like to see.
Third graders worked with play-dough to make a set of coasters fro their families. They made some Miró-inspired ones and some marbled ones.

Fourth graders experimented with paper-maché and created a bowl/tray for their families (to put the keys, some chocolates, ...)

And last, but not least! Fifth graders made a set of hanging photo frames for their families.
